Yesterday, I did a post on social media that ended up being a bit of a microblog, if you will. It was The Four Year Anniversary of a very intense car accident I was in. The collision left me in the hospital for three months, re-learning to walk and undergoing 12 surgeries.
The post looked something like this:

Read MoreWhen I was in 8th grade, I remember sitting in English Class and my teacher, Mrs. Pomerantz, told the class that she would be guiding us in a visualization exercise. She instructed us to close our eyes and envision it was our wedding day. She painted a beautiful picture which made us all feel as if we were right there. She continued on and had us visualize, in detail, our wedding dress as we walked down the aisle. At the end of the exercise, she had us greet our significant other and then we were to open our eyes. The class began to roar into discussion as she asked us different questions: “What did your dress look like?” Or “Were you able to envision your future husband or wife?”

Read MoreI'll never forget one early morning in March when I woke up to numerous missed calls and text messages from my sister and mom. The first thought in my head was, "Oh my gosh, is everything okay?" - And then I had this feeling take over me. It started as butterflies in my stomach and transitioned into a still calmness that traveled like lightning from my head to my toes. It was a gut feeling and I knew exactly what my sister was about to tell me; she was pregnant!

It was quite the journey but I was ecstatic to be back as a project I was producing was going into production on June 3rd. We had four days to shoot 17 pages - piece of cake, right? LOL.

Let's rewind, shall we? Earlier this month, Freddie and I visited Ohio to visit his family. While we were on this trip, I remember finishing up a shoot for Dunkin' Donuts and coming inside to look through the images. As we all sat down in the living room, I started scrolling through the photos when a notification on my phone went off. I opened up my e-mail and saw a message from Beau Beasley regarding "YoungArts Foundation Photoshoot."

Yes, we went ring shopping together but the proposal reveal is something that will be happening in the very near future! I am so dang curious how he is going to do it. We tell each other everything and this has been killing us! Lol - However, when we were visiting his hometown this past week, his parents introduced me to everyone as his fiancé and I just adored the way it sounded so here I am, titling my blog with fiancé instead of boyfriend! Yolo.

Read MoreA question I am often asked is, “How are you always so positive?”
While I do believe that having a positive vibration is something that naturally radiates inside of me, I also have to acknowledge that from a young age I unintentionally trained myself to “look at the bright side.” To “believe the glass is half full” and focus my energies on goals I wanted to achieve. Thoughts are things, after all.

It is the perfect mix of beach life but also only an hour train ride to NYC. We didn't make it out to the city this trip as we had a very important event: my sister was getting MARRIED!
