TRAVEL DIARY: COLTS NECK, NJ: PUMPKIN PATCH ADVENTURES

This past Friday, I flew into New Jersey as my sister is due to give birth this month! Although she measures early, her official due date is October 31st (my favorite holiday- Halloween!) On Saturday afternoon, I was reminiscing with my parents, and we couldn’t believe how long it had been since we all carved pumpkins together! If you saw last year’s Halloween Vlog with Freddie, I am ALL about the holiday spirit! Carving pumpkins, scary movies, candy corn, you name it - I am there!

LOST YOUR SPARKLE? 5 WAYS TO GET IT BACK

How is it already October 8th!?

Yesterday, I did a post on social media that ended up being a bit of a microblog, if you will. It was The Four Year Anniversary of a very intense car accident I was in. The collision left me in the hospital for three months, re-learning to walk and undergoing 12 surgeries.

The post looked something like this:

ADVENTURE DIARY: WEDDING DRESS SHOPPING AT KINSLEY JAMES

When I was in 8th grade, I remember sitting in English Class and my teacher, Mrs. Pomerantz, told the class that she would be guiding us in a visualization exercise. She instructed us to close our eyes and envision it was our wedding day. She painted a beautiful picture which made us all feel as if we were right there. She continued on and had us visualize, in detail, our wedding dress as we walked down the aisle. At the end of the exercise, she had us greet our significant other and then we were to open our eyes. The class began to roar into discussion as she asked us different questions: “What did your dress look like?” Or “Were you able to envision your future husband or wife?”

ADVENTURE DIARY: BABY SHOWER BASH IN RED BANK, NJ

I'll never forget one early morning in March when I woke up to numerous missed calls and text messages from my sister and mom. The first thought in my head was, "Oh my gosh, is everything okay?" - And then I had this feeling take over me. It started as butterflies in my stomach and transitioned into a still calmness that traveled like lightning from my head to my toes. It was a gut feeling and I knew exactly what my sister was about to tell me; she was pregnant!

ADVENTURE DIARY: THE SURPRISE OF A LIFETIME: ENGAGEMENT EDITION

July 21st, 2018. The BEST day of my life to date.

Let's rewind, shall we? Earlier this month, Freddie and I visited Ohio to visit his family. While we were on this trip, I remember finishing up a shoot for Dunkin' Donuts and coming inside to look through the images. As we all sat down in the living room, I started scrolling through the photos when a notification on my phone went off. I opened up my e-mail and saw a message from Beau Beasley regarding "YoungArts Foundation Photoshoot."

If you've been following Freddie’s and my journey, you probably know that we aren't *technically* engaged just yet. Yes, we went ring shopping together but the proposal reveal is something that will be happening in the very near future! I am so dang curious how he is going to do it. We tell each other everything and this has been killing us! Lol - However, when we were visiting his hometown this past week, his parents introduced me to everyone as his fiancé and I just adored the way it sounded so here I am, titling my blog with fiancé instead of boyfriend! Yolo.

5 WAYS TO INCREASE ENDORPHINS & FEEL-GOOD CHEMICALS

When I was 14, I remember watching Legally Blonde with Reese Witherspoon and absolutely adoring it. However, it was a specific quote in that movie that my girlfriends and I used to always recite, “Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. Happy people just don't shoot their husbands, they just don’t!” Oh Elle Woods, how I love you so.
